Orienteering will be part of the The World Games in three years, when the games return to Karlsruhe, Germany. The games in Karlsruhe will have a strong focus on sustainability, which aligns well with the IOF's values.

Iris Pecorari 🇮🇹 and Votjek Ludvik 🇨🇿 lead the CX80 MTBO World Cup standings after the first round of 2026 in Hungary. Next up for the MTBO Elite is the European MTBO Championships and Round 2 in the CX80 World Cup, to be held in the period 24-28 May in Portugal.

The final webinar of the season features William Lemoine, psychologist and mental performance coach working with Team Finland Orienteering. In this webinar, William will speak about the power of mental imagery (also called visualization) and the effects on sport performance, with practical application in orienteering.
